Although this material includes extensive compiled genealogy and indexing which it is hoped will be of help to other researchers, my primary interest and emphasis has been to assemble copies of source documents that could be located about the individuals covered in this research. Some documents contain purely background, biographical or ancillary information about their lives. Although care has been exercised in preparing the compiled individual records in the lineage-linked database, I have had to make my own interpretations and draw my own conclusions about certain "facts" contained in the source documents. The source documents are presented in their entirety so that readers and researchers may draw their own conclusions and make their own interpretations.
